Hybrid Prêt-à-Porter

Every garment begins with research, material exploration and contemporary craftsmanship. Produced in limited editions, our collections bring together existing materials, new textiles and contemporary tailoring to create pieces of enduring cultural value.

The Collection

Two approaches to making. One considered way of acquiring.

Reinterpreted Pieces

Garments transformed from existing pieces or recovered materials through contemporary design and craftsmanship.

Garments developed from the beginning through research, tailoring and contemporary craftsmanship.

Original Constructions

Both are produced in limited quantities and developed through a considered preorder process.

Two Approaches to Making

Other garments begin from the beginning. Research, material exploration, pattern development and contemporary craftsmanship shape each piece through a considered design process.
Developed in limited quantities and exclusively through preorder, these garments are produced according to confirmed demand rather than conventional seasonal cycles

Reinterpreted Pieces

Original Constructions

Some garments begin with an existing piece or recovered material. Through deconstruction, reconstruction and contemporary tailoring, we transform what already exists into something with a new identity.
Each reinterpretation retains a relationship with its material history. Variations in texture, colour, construction and detail are therefore part of the nature of the process.

A Different Way of Acquiring a Piece

Choose the piece that speaks to you. We will guide you through the rest.

Our pieces are not produced through conventional cycles of continuous availability. Each garment has its own material history, construction process and degree of uniqueness.
For this reason, acquiring a piece begins with a conversation. We can guide you through availability, materials, colour, fit and sizing before you decide to proceed.

The time between choosing and acquiring is part of the process.

Why Preorder

Preorder allows us to develop each garment according to confirmed demand rather than producing unnecessary stock.
It gives us the time to source materials, develop the piece and give attention to each order while avoiding overproduction and conventional liquidation cycles.

Made Beyond the Seasonal Cycle

Our collections are not conceived around constant seasonal replacement. We work through limited production, material research and preorder, allowing each garment to be developed with greater attention and intention.
We believe that a piece should have the possibility of remaining relevant beyond the season in which it was created.

Hybrid Prêt-à-Porter is informed by the Hybrid Upcycling System, our approach to material research, recovery, experimentation and contemporary garment development.
Through this system, existing garments and materials can enter into dialogue with new textiles, tailoring and new forms of construction.

The System Behind the Piece

Find the Piece. Begin the Conversation.

A piece can catch your eye. Choosing it is something else. If something speaks to you, let’s talk. We’ll explore the possibilities together before it becomes yours.
