The most sculptural piece in the collection — a jacket where the back stops behaving like fabric and starts behaving like current. Layered drapery pulls diagonally across the shoulder blade, twisting and folding as if caught mid-motion, the way water moves just before it disappears beneath the surface. There is no single flat plane anywhere on the back; every angle catches light differently, every step changes the shape. It closes the collection as its most demanding piece to construct, and its most complete expression of what Hybrid Upcycling System (HUS) makes possible when volume is treated as material to sculpt rather than fabric to cut.
Developed through HUS, The Undertow Jacket was built from a recovered garment, selected, deconstructed, and reassembled into this new form.
