An overshirt built at the border between formal tailoring and utility wear: a sharp, structured collar, an integrated tie that doubles as its own closure, oversized chest pockets pulled from workwear logic, and an adjustable fabric sash that lets the garment take its own shape on the body rather than following a fixed silhouette. It is the most "engineered" piece within the Original line — more elements in dialogue, more decisions made at the pattern stage.
The Sarto Utility Shirt is made entirely from new fabric, cut and constructed only once it has been requested. We hold no stock. Each piece is produced to order, in small batches, as part of our commitment to a conscious production process — no overproduction, no end-of-season liquidation, no excess. You are not buying from a shelf; you are commissioning a piece into existence.
