The Interval Shirt is a contemporary interpretation of the classic shirt, developed through a study of interruption, volume and the relationship between garment and body.
Its traditional shirt construction is disrupted by a series of sculptural openings and gathered sections that alter the silhouette around the waist. Long fabric ties emerge from the central construction, allowing the garment to be adjusted and creating a shifting relationship between structure, movement and the body.
The sleeves introduce another layer of construction, with articulated folds that create volume and movement while maintaining the refined character of a tailored shirt. The result is a piece that moves between conventional tailoring and experimental construction, transforming a familiar garment into something more unexpected.
Developed as an Original Construction, the garment is designed and produced entirely anew through our research and contemporary craftsmanship process. Each piece is developed in limited series and produced through preorder, allowing us to avoid unnecessary overproduction and give considered attention to each order.
